Merry Christmas 2014!

This has been a hard year. Really, the hardest year of my life. My mother was diagnosed with brain cancer, I experienced some depression, my husband has had professional and employment challenges, leaving us in a difficult financial position, my baby has had major food allergies that doctors were unable to identify and I had to figure out the cause and solution on my own. My brother-in-law has had a few untimely deaths of his immediate family members. It has been a really hard year. The hardest ever, in fact! I was going to blog that this was the worst year ever, but stepping back, there have been so many blessings and so many friends come forward and shower their love upon us, I truly feel blessed! This has been a *challenging year. One that I don't hope to repeat. I'm happy to see it go, really. But I can't deny the wonderful blessings we have also experienced. Most of all, I'm grateful for my hubby and the 3 little girls that live in my home. They make my crazy! They make me silly. Worried.  Happy. They make me so incredibly happy. I'm so glad that they are ours!
I've learned that happiness can be found in any condition. It's a state of mind, not a physical state.
Merry Christmas, all!
