We took the girls to their first theme park: Legoland! We got a sweet deal on a 5-day pass, and got to see the main park, the aquarium and and the water park. The theme everyday? Everything is AWESOME!!!! And really, it was! The lines for the rides weren't too long, everyone was nice, understanding, and chill. We loved all the rides- roller coasters, knight rides, upside-downy rides, train rides, boat rides, family competition rides, bumper car rides, sky rides... All the lego figures everywhere were AWESOME!
Things got a little hairy one day when we went to the beach. AS we were leaving, I was folding up our beach blanket, and somehow got on my hand stung by a bee! I got so sunburned that day (and the day before at the water park at Legoland) that Thad got some aloe for me to put on. So that night, I lathered up in the stuff, even put some on my lips (because they were very sunburned too). I woke up the next morning with an allergic reaction to something in the aloe! My lips were swollen to at least twice the size! (And hey, let's face it, they're not so small to begin with!), and my eyes were all swollen too! So thad ran to the pharmacy and gave me something to help the reaction. I realized shortly after, that it was a "drowsy" medication, and I spent the next 6 hours zombie-walking through the aquarium :/
But by the last day, EVERYTHING was AWESOME again! The girls LOVED it, and are already saving up for their next trip!
