Siena's First Christmas!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! It was so nice to be home for Christmas, especially after being delayed in the Chicago airport yesterday, afraid that we might not make it back in time. We are still feeling a bit jet-lagged, but glad to be home :)
Although Brazil was phenomenal! More on that later...

Anniversary at Iguassu

Thad and I had an AWESOME anniversary at the Argentina side of Iguassu Falls, on December 22. I'm only a month and a half late posting it. I gotta say, this was definitely the most memorable anniversary EVER. Iguassu is famous for having the largest volume of water that goes through it than any other series of waterfalls in the world! The flag picture is us going over the Iguassu river from Brazil to Argentina, where the division is.

Paragliding in Brazil

So the new official story is that I broke my wrist paragliding in Brazil. Fact: I went paragliding in Brazil and it was awesome! Fact: the fact that I actually broke my wrist slipping on ice is way too lame.... so I just throw a couple of facts together, and that is the new official story. And just to proove that I actually went paragliding, and it was spectacular, I am including a few photos.

We are livin it up in Brazil! We came down here about a week ago for a friend s wedding (met her on the mission), and are having a grand time! Here are a few pics, including Siena trying to eat a truffle cone (among other things). We ll be here for another few days, and will get home just in time for Christmas!

Happy Halloween!

This year was my favorite Halloween ever! Besides the fact that we had one very tired, very grouchy little ladybug for an hour.... Her cute pics are posted under "Love Bug". Well Thad and I went to Cousin Camille's awesome Halloween party, where we all discovered that Thad's secretly a huge karoeke fan! We went military this year. We had a blast.

Favorite Toy

Before our friends Sarah and Loren moved to Korea, they gave Siena the best gift ever- a jumper! We were so excited when she finally got big enough to use it. We put it together this last weekend and it was automatically a huge hit! She is learning to bounce and loves to play with all of the toys on it!
And Siena is definitely a daddy's girl- he can always get her to smile and laugh, so I had to include a couple of those pics too :)

Love Bug

So we went to Cedar City this weekend to visit my sister for her little boy's blessing. While we were there, all 4 of my mom's grandkids got together in costume and we got some cute pics I thought you guys would enjoy! So here you go!

Diaper Duty

I thought we would share a post about Siena's fabulous cloth diapers. Now rest assured these aren't old school with safety pins and plastic pants and all of that good stuff, heavens no! She's got the Bum Genius, the best of the best, with velcro closures, super absorbable inserts, and the best part... they are adjustable! They have snaps in the front that you can adjust to any size from 3 months to 3 years (hopefully she is potty trained before then!). And I never thought I could deal with baby poop, but what they say, 'it's different when it's your own' is really true! I don't even mind so much ... most of the time :)
