Happy Easter!

I hope you had a Happy Easter this year! The Easter Bunny brought the girls kites, and grandma got them matching dresses! We also continued with our Easter tradition of hiding the Easter baskets, and the girls have to find them Easter morning.

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park

We stumbled upon a hidden gem on Saturday. We were driving out to Red Rock, and happened upon this amazing place- a photographer's dream! I start a community digital photography class this week (something I've wanted to do for years) and I am so excited to have found such a great place to keep practicing! Here are some of my faves.

Cali livin'

We had an AWESOME time visiting my AWESOME friend Shauna in California! I know, I need to find a new word, but how else do you describe AWESOME?! We went to the park, the beach, the kid-friendly restaurant on the beach, the best ice cream place. What's not to LOVE about this place?! We even took the scenic route through a joshua tree forest and through these cute 'old west' towns. We also LOVED visiting cousins Thayne and Sheryl in Ojai. They were GREAT (see what I did there?) hosts.

A day at the beach

I think today was the best day of my girls' lives. I know it was Leila's favorite day ever! I have never seen her so excited as she was when she was playing in the sand today, or when she discovered that it was edible....
We collected shells, played with sea anemones, built sand castles. Pretty sure my girls wanna move to the beach, lol!
