The girls were so proud of themselves for finding their Easter baskets- Thad's family tradition is that the Easter bunny hides the baskets and the kids have to find them. They thought it was hilarious that one of their baskets was hidden in their play closet :)

I had the girls drink their green smoothie before they could have their crepes this morning. Tessa didn't want her green smoothie, and kept getting her words mixed up, saying, "But mommy, I don't want to drink this crap!" (meaning crepe, meaning green smoothie). It was funnier in person...

Cedar City

We went to Cedar City for Spring Break. We took a trip to the fire station while we were there, which the girls absolutely loved!

We also found an awesome new place to get our nails done while eating Mexican food! Lol, it's been a long time since I laughted that hard!!

Birthday Triplets

My mom, my brother and my daughter were all born March 23. It's a pretty cool day!

Happy to you tessa!

As Tessa used to say, Happy to you! I can't believe my baby is already 3! We celebrated 2 or 3 times, since sje shares a birthday with her uncle Danny and her grandma! We actually managed to get them all together this year for dinner (and 1 really bad photo). Tessa wanted a ladybug party this year (fortunately, something I already know how to do). We kept it small, with only a couple of friends, complete with a pinata!

Happy Surprise!

I surprised my mom with an early birthday party in Las Vegas with all of her old friends there! She had no idea when we walked in that it was a party for her! She saw the balloons and told the girls not to go in there because she didn't want them to bust in on somebody else's party! It took her a minute to look up and recognize the faces of her dear friends she hadn't seen in so long, and to realize that they were there for her! I wish I could have captured the expression on her face- it was priceless!

Happy St Pattys!

The girls loved St Pattys day this year! The grandparents were in town. We had green pancakes (greened with spinach of course :)) , and those mischievous leprechauns made a mess of everything! But at least they left some gold behind (rollos) that the girls could have as soon as they cleaned up the mess, lol! They loved the game! And for weeks after, whenever something went missing or awry, it was blamed on those little leprechauns, lol!
